The Hong Kong Hotel

To accommodate an influx of visitors arriving from ocean liners berthing at the newly opened Ocean Terminal, an 800-room hotel was opened adjacent to it. It was known as “The Hong Kong Hotel”, reflected in an abstract logo – triangles fashioned into two H’s. Along with the Harbour Centre shopping mall, the location soon became a tourist hub and remains so till this day.
