Hong Kong Jockey Club
With the year of the handover approaching, the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club voted to remove the “Royal” from its name. To best transition the institution into a new era, an update to the mark was also motioned on. The existing monogram was refined and placed within an oval racecourse. In Henry’s words “I don’t have to re-design everything if I start with something good.” One subtle but meaningful change – replacing the whip with a riding crop.
