Hong Kong Hyatt

Hyatt’s first international hotel opened in Hong Kong on Nathan Road in 1969. A fresh and distinctive identity was required to introduce the American chain to a city that was on the receiving end of the global travel boom. To accomplish this feat, and to reflect the alliterative H in the three-word hotel name, the logo – variations on an H – was born.
