1994 / Lantau Airport Railway

The Lantau Airport Railway comprises two separate MTR lines, the Tung Chung line and the Airport Express, The two lines share a partial route and thus a portion of their rail tracks.To symbolise this extension, and the lines’ overlap, a logo was derived using the double trident mark for MTR – the doubling of which signifies both the connection and distinction between the two lines.
