Sir Michael Kadoorie brought swinging 60s London to Hong Kong in the form of Asia’s first discotheque - The Scene, located in the basement of his family’s first, and Hong Kong’s most iconic hotel The Peninsula. A muli-coloured 3D wordmark, influenced by the emerging style of psychedelia, was created and soon became among the most familiar sights for Hong Kong’s see and be seen.
